What we calculate

• Directions and journey times: calculated by our own route engine from official stop-to-stop times and departure times. Walking inside stations when changing lines is an estimate.
• Walking times: in directions, street by street along OpenStreetMap footpaths at 80 metres a minute. For transfers and for nearby stations on place pages: 1.3 times the straight-line distance at 75 metres a minute, plus 2 minutes to enter and leave the station.
• Journey fare: calculated from the İETT fare table with transfer discounts; transfers made without leaving the gates cost nothing, so the figure is a maximum.

Using our line maps

The stop diagrams on rail line pages (the SVG, PNG and WebP files under /line-maps/) are free to use under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence: you may use, share and adapt them at no cost. The only condition is to credit "Geldik" with a link to geldik.app.

Example credit: "Map: Geldik (geldik.app), CC BY 4.0". The licence covers the line diagrams only; on map images, map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Trademark rights in the Geldik name and logo are not licensed. The diagrams are not official operator maps.
